Students are required to pay visits to factories and undergo training arranged by the Polytechnic as an integral part of the curriculum. Students are expected to maintain strict disciplines withgin and outside the class room, workshop, library, laboratories and also observe the rules prescribed from time to time. They are expected to show politeness and courtesy of speech as well as observe cleanliness in dress and person.
Students must be regular and punctual in attendance in classes, tutorials and submission of term work in various subjects. Sessional marks are given based on calss performance, attendance and term works submitted.


Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities play a significant role in the development of students. They serve as an inportant role in the course work. Sports, essay and debate competitions, cultural activities and various other programmes are organised to simulate interest in diverse spheres of student life. This also encourage emotional integration amongst students.
